Im looking for a small motor that will rotate a thin wooden tabletop quickly and precisely to 180 degrees. The tabletop and motor will be attached to a rail.

Well could you tell us the weight of the table and give the dimension to have a rough idea , a step by step motor will be certainly what you need, you ll be able to control precisely the rotation and therefore have a accuracy in the angle. Will the motor support the tabletop or will it just rotate it???could you give us more details on the system.
Is the rotation speed important???
There are motor out there that could do it but the price of them + command system is really expensive, if you have a pneumatic system already in use, you could consider using a pneumatic motor that would the job with the torque required and within second, and really easy to control. If you really want to use a motor, brushless motor are great but really expensive.what is your budget by the way??

Your table tops weight will define the torque of the motor needed. a 1,2 x 1.2 m 5mm smart table top weighs bout 50 to 80 kg, added the centrifugal force needed to rotate the table top and the braking and pick up speed, I doubt if a small DC motor will do the job. What you need is a AC motor with gears (one to raise the top and the other to rotate it. There are two actions for this job, not one, a disc gear or a worm type, depending on the motor alignment mounting direction and location, relative to the table. The actual speed to rotate it ( the time needed ) is never congruent to its mobilization and pick up speed . You may be blurred to this explanation. because to do s good job, you have to plan else, forget it and get someone, a rough use is advisable. Accountability and usability is the essence there.

Since you have air power for the lifting ram, why not use one to turn the table too? Think of the wheels on an old steam engine.
If budget is tight for this, use a screen door closer for the ram to spin it. Simply remove the adjustment screw and replace it with a fitting for the air line. Air pressure will turn it and the spring will return it when you release the air.
I love air power. Strong, fast and if it gets stuck it doesn't burn up.
To support the table, consider using wheels from inline skate or scooter. There cheap, smooth, quite and can take a lot of abuse.

Check for polarity of the capacitor. For first half supply runs motor and for other half capacitor runs the other half. Maybe the other half is coinciding with motor supply eg motor: +............- and capacitor -........................+ Capacitor itself have no polarity but after getting charge it may Check the capacitor and even thoughtful about capacitor value 1.2 uF
