I need to connect cable to new Zanussi single electric oven. Everything else is fine but I want to make sure that the correct spade connectors are used to connect the 2.5mm cable to the terminal box at the rear of the oven.
What mm connector should be used and are they colour coded. All help would be fully appreciated
Thanks

If the cable size is 2.5² mm the colour is blue, but if it's twin and earth cable the earth conductor will be 1.5² mm. which is coded red. You do not need to use crimp spades, just wrap the conductor below the screw, probably a better connection anyway! You wont't get a blue or red spade with a big enough opening for a M6 screw.
ADDED>> Like Nev, I have fitted hundreds of ovens and never had to use crimps or spade terminals.

2 possibilities. 1. Your graphic card is over heated, if you have an older card somewhere that you don't use, try to change to that one and see if it helps. 2. Your monitor is "boo-boo". I had ones the same. Computer did start normally but monitor didn't show anything. So i bought a new monitor and it worked. Of course it could be something else. If you have another monitoe or graphic card, try with these first, before you buy anything. It can just be a little connection problem that's easy to fix.

I am very, very surprised that Zanussi have only left spade connectors for you. Are you positive that this is the correct connection point? I have fitted dozens of Ovens and have never had to use crimps. Please double check and if in doubt you should not connect it. In fact you should not connect it, end of....

I believe yellow is the color. I am just going by what I have out in the shop. I think I bought mine at NAPA to work on the truck with. NAPA also has an adjustable size that you can tighten down with a screw. You can get the eyelet type connectors in these too.
